Outreach and community impact
Team 3101 is committed to giving back to the community. We have been involved in various outreach programs, such as mentoring younger students and promoting STEM education in local schools. This dedication to community service allows our team to not only excel in our competitions but also make a positive impact on the world around us. Furthermore, team 3101 is always looking for opportunities to engage and inspire the community through STEM education and robotics.
A priority for us with outreach this season has been teaching members of our local community about our team, as well as robotics as a whole. Our team has felt that being able to exhibit our knowledge on robotics to others allows us to learn more in the process. Being able to teach others about FTC and what we do has given us the ability to further our teams own understanding on robotics. However, the most important area of outreach for us is meeting younger students with a passion for robotics and STEM, and being able to show them what we do and and answer some of their questions. Our team hopes that our outreach with younger students and our community will inspire other people to get involved in robotics and FTC.
We hope that every team has a fun, educational experience, even if it means helping our competition fix their robot before a match. We believe it’s not just about winning, but ensuring everyone has a good time, and we hope that if we are ever in a time of need, others would come to help us too. Fostering a culture of mutual support and Gracious Professionalism.
In addition to showing off the robot, we strive to inspire the next generation of STEM. By regularly participating in events and workshops at Carwise Middle School, we aim to educate young students about the possibilities and potential of STEM fields. Furthermore, by sharing our principles and experiences with them, we hope to spark their interest in STEM and FIRST Robotics, and continue to cultivate the community for future

Carwise Middle School
This year, some of our members have also begun to mentor in a newly formed robotics club at a local middle school. We had members teach the students the basics of coding as well as provide design advice. We also held a demonstration to display the possibilities the students can gain by joining their high school robotics club.

Glazier Family museum
Our team participates in an annual robotics demonstration at the Glazier Children's museum in Tampa. We bring our robot with a simplified, slowed-down tele-op to provide young children with an opportunity to drive a robot and have fun while doing it in the hopes of piquing their interest in robotics and STEM.
RaytheonTo demonstrate our progress throughout the season and to display our gratitude to our sponsors at Raytheon, our team and other local teams participate in an annual demonstration where we demonstrate our robots to the employees. We hope to continue this tradition for years to come.

Off - Season
Every year after states, our mentors create a mini-game which encompasses basic building and programming concepts. This is to encourage new members to join our club, as well as provide returning members with the opportunity to learn new skills. Builders are encouraged to program, and programmers build. This provides a stepping-stone to the next FTC season.
